‘Best Christmas Pageant’ at Roebuck Elementary
Kindergarten through fifth-grade students at Roebuck Elementary School will perform “The Best Christmas discount tiffany Pageant Ever” at 7 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $2 at the door.
The play tells the story of six children who are poorly behaved. They go to church for the first time because they think snacks are handed out there. Instead, they find themselves involved in an annual Christmas pageant.
The Spartanburg High School Chamber Orchestra will present a free concert at 7 p.m. Monday in the David Reid Theater at the Chapman Cultural Center. Under the baton of director Jeff Kuntz, the orchestra will present works by Bartok, Dvorak, Jenkins and Tchaikovsky.
Shakespeare wrote that one man in his time plays many parts. He wasn’t kidding.
In the Tryon, N.C., Little Theater’s “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged),”silver earrings six actors squeeze all 37 of the bard’s plays into about an hour and 45 minutes of mayhem. Check out the performances at the theater’s workshop, at 516 S. Trade St., at 3 p.m. today, 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m. Nov. 22.

Converse Opera Theatre will present two one-act operas at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in Daniel Recital Hall on the Converse College campus.
The operas are Celius Dougherty’s “Many Moons” and Gian-Carlo Menotti’s “The Old Maid and the Thief.”

Catch the final performance of Ken Ludwig’s “Leading Ladies” by The Shoestring Players at the University of South Carolina Upstate at 3 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Theatre.
