FAYETTEVILLE POLICE OBTAIN WARRANT IN JEWELRY STORE ROBBERY
The city of Fayetteville issued the following new release:
2009Fayetteville Police Interim Chief Greg Tabor announced today the Fayetteville Police Department has obtained a warrant for the suspect in connection with an armed robbery of the Romance Diamond Company located at 248 W Dickson Street.
On December 15, 2008 at approximately 10:30 A.M., the Fayetteville Police Department responded to an armed robbery of the Romance Diamond Company on Dickson Street. The suspect entered the business brandished a handgun and demanded jewelry. After the robbery, the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of tiffany jewelry.
During the course of the investigation, detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department identified Jason STALLCUP, white male, age 37 as a suspect. A warrant for Aggravated Robbery, Theft of Property and three Counts of Kidnapping has been issued for STALLCUP. STALLCUP may be driving a 2001 four door Chrysler Sebring bearing Michigan vehicle license BXC4801. At this time STALLCUP’S whereabouts are unknown, and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
